Tourism Police

I've seen cops on bikes, cars, 4x4's, pick-ups, horses, and even bicycles. But only in Egypt have I seen cops on camels.

Police presence can be seen everywhere in Egypt, especially in the tourist attractions. They are not there to give inconvenience to tourists but rather to protect them and give a sense of security.
