The last surviving 7 Wonders of the Ancient World, the great pyramids of Egypt has stood for more than 4 milleniums - and it looks like it will remain for another 4 milleniums.

I cannot describe enough how awesome it was to stand at the foot of what is arguably the most recognizable man-made monuments in the world. The largest of the great pyramids, the pyramid of Cheops, was the tallest structure in the world until the Eiffel Tower in Paris was built.
