Symmetry?Posted by alexdpx (Manila, Philippines) on 22 January 2008 in Art & Design and Portfolio. Technically, the models are not wearing any clothes so the photos may be considered as nudes. On the other hand, they are not exactly uncovered because they are in fact wearing underpants and the rest are covered with water-based emulsion paints. Some people may, therefore, argue that they are not naked. I think they were not at all naked because the thick paint as their "clothes" are no different from a thin and tight dance suit. In fact after this shoot, we went to a bar and continued our photoshoot in a rather well and nicely lit corner. (Of course they were already wearing jeans and t-shirts on the way there. They just took off their top for the photoshoot). None of the models felt naked and none of the bar staff and other customers felt anything obscene about the whole thing. They were intrigued though of whether the models are really body painted or were just wearing some tight body suit.
