October 2007, Manila, Philippines
It was the first time I have photographed something like it. The two models arrived in the studio with the base color already painted on them. Then the body painters went to work on the final touches one at a time so we could start photographing one while they work on the other.
It took about an hour to finish one model but it was fine with me. My friends (and fellow photographers) spent the time waiting by setting up the studio lights and doing some fun shots of our own. And also, I took some documentary shots like this.
I've put this particular photo under the "People & Portraits" category because it's more about the painters at work rather than the body paint artwork on the model. Tomorrow's post though, in full color, will be categorized under "Art & Design".

Thanks guys! This was shot at a really high ISO setting and the only source of light were the 2 fluorescent tubes on both sides of the vanity mirror.
